eGHOTA Self Publishing (ESP) allows creators to use their own preferred tools for content creation and upload their work in accepted file formats, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in the publication process. This approach eliminates the need for creators to adapt to new tools and workflows, saving them time and effort. We believe this grant’s creative freedom to creators and removes the limitations. Print on Demand| eBooks | Audiobooks | Videobooks | Music Album | Films | Vlogs (Podcasts) publishing are some of the capabilities we have designed and are building into ESP. Every publication through ESP will be available through the eGHOTA Multimedia streamer and also through other retail partners who support such publications like amazon, apple, google play etc. thereby guaranteeing global reach for our users.

At the onset of our journey, we had envisioned a simple book reader but as we advanced our research with our development team, we discovered we had the opportunity to develop a more advanced value application with multiple functionalities. The EMS allows users to read, listen watch and order physical versions of different publications to their addresses. Imagine an application that lets you read eBooks like the kindle E-Reader, listen to audiobooks like the audible or Apple Book application, stream videos like Netflix, stream music like Spotify and order hardcopies like from the website of bookstore or a marketplace like amazon. This is what we are developing for users. All publications through the eGHOTA Self-Publishing platform will be listed and available through this application. Your library is organized by type of publications you have purchased, you just simply tap each tab to view your library to either continue reading, listening or watching from where you left off or start a new activity. Ours is the first of a kind to feature Electronic Book, Audiobook and Video Streaming capabilities for a more complete user experience. Our streaming feature allows us to stream videobooks and films. The videobook is a new learning technique we have developed to provide alternative access to learning for individuals with different capacities but more importantly new language learners. Users are able to cut, use, remix or share clips certain contents as a paid feature which is also an added earning to publishers.

The Language Learning application is the learning interface of the “eGHOTA language mine” platform. It is being designed as both a web and mobile interface for indigenous and endangered languages. All courses will go through a language incubation process before becoming available to ensure quality standards is achieved.

Our transparent royalty system attached to user dashboard is a clear and fair mechanism for calculating and distributing earnings real-time based on the sales or distribution of publications. This ensures that users have visibility into their royalties’, earnings and calculations, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of their financial performance. On the royalty tracking system of the dashboard, users will be able to view all of the following: 1.Royalty Terms for each publication. 2.Royalty Calculation based on the defined royalty terms. 3.Sales report not just from within the eGHOTA platforms but also across retail partners platforms, reporting through the dashboard. Our platform provides users with detailed royalty reports that outline the sales and distribution activity, the calculated royalties, and any relevant deductions and fees. These reports are easily accessible and customizable, allowing users to track their earnings over time and gain insights into the financial performance of their publications and expected payments timelines. Users can also request royalty draws before payment due date.

ESP takes it a step further by incorporating a dedicated freelance marketplace for publishing professionals. This aspect of our platform allows freelancers with specialization in various fields of the publishing industry to showcase their expertise and offer their services directly to users. By providing a platform for freelance professionals, we aim to address one of the common challenges faced by independent publishers which is the need for specialized assistance creating a well-polished end product. Whether it's editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting, or translation services for books or a well narrated and produced audiobook or a well mastered and mixed track. The ESP marketplace allows users options to charge and receive payment upfront or provide services in exchange for agreed percentages of royalties. ESP marketplace is very beneficial to established publishing houses and authors because it allows them as registered users to list all or portions of their catalogs, they intend to translate into any of the Languages as available projects and language experts from translators, editors, proof readers can apply for the projects submit their proposals which may include payments, percentage of royalties or mix of both. With this marketplace we are creating a new income stream for skilled linguists and publishers and authors who will be expanding the reach of their literary works through by translating and publishing in indigenous, endangered and widely spoken languages of the people of Africa and the First nations of Canada and all of the Americas.

eGHOTA SuperSchool is a fully designed learning platform/course provider, which will accommodate courses and curriculums from established academic, educational, vocational and professional institutions and established individual course providers translated into widely spoken indigenous and endangered languages. Students can complete a program within an institution or take courses from different institutions with the SuperSchool that can add up for the award of eGHOTA credentials from PreK - PhD level.

ESP goes beyond being just a publishing platform. It fosters a vibrant community for users by providing networking features that allow for the creation of communities and or groups, within the platform for further collaboration and peer review. This feature-rich network, enables creators to connect with like-minded individuals, share knowledge, and collaborate ongoing or future projects.

Our LM portal is the feature of our platform, which is also a stand-alone web/mobile application has been designed to be developed and utilized by our community of subject matter experts in the supported indigenous and endangered languages we are working to document, preserve, promote and expand. This community will jointly create dictionaries for each language and all data in the mine will be available to the public and also through our language learning interface of the language mine. We will also make this data available to interested language learning platforms e.g., Duolingo, Babbel, Rosetta Stone etc. The community of “Language Subject Matter Experts” contributing to the development of this ELM will earn a large percentage of the revenues generated through the use of its content. An interesting interactive feature with the general public is also planned which will allow the public post words, phrases, adages etc. along with their perceived meanings and the community experts votes up or down until the most accurate meaning is received and adopted into the ELM dictionary through verification threshold by the community experts.
